what is a tv tuner and is compatible with any notebook computer?
Okay, I somewhat understand what a TV tuner is. I recently purchased an HP dv5000z notebook with windows XP ...the rep from HP said that I have the right XP program to run a TV tuner. But they are selling theirs for $179 and that is somewhat too expensive for me!! But I was searching around at BizRate and I saw that I can get a TV for very low (under $100)...I just wanted to know if that will be compatible with my notebook or not...
The only thing you need is an external tv device, usb or firewire
