Can someone please help me with some questions about my laptop?
I have an HPDV5-2045DX laptop with an 14.5 WXGA HD lcd screen. My screen was broken today and I have only had this computer for 3 months. Can someone please tell me if HP will cover this? Also, if not I looked it up online and it looks like a simple fix. Can you please tell me a website that is cheap to buy this screen and the model number to it? Also does the screen have to be the same brand or are all screens the same if they are the same in inches? Also, is there a webiste to help show me on like a video how to fix it? Thanks
Also, I don't think they would cover it because I stepped on it! But do they know that by looking at it?
if you are in warranty you can give them a call and they will send you a box for free so you can send it to their repair facility and within a few weeks you will receive it
