is my laptop cooler good for my laptop?
I thought the fans on the cooler are supposed to blow into the vents on the bottom of the laptop. But the fans on the cooler that I bought are not near the vents on my laptop, so they are just blowing on the bottom. My laptop is unusually big because it is a multimedia and 17" widescreen, I bought one for a widescreen laptop but the fans are still nowhere near the vents. Is the cooler still doing anything or should i return the cooler.
The cooler won't do any good for your laptop. Return it. Just keep your laptop on a level surface and don't block the air vents then you won't have any overheat problems. I have a big 17" screen multimedia laptop with Window vista Premium and the fans rarely run at the highest speed.
