Electricity adapter for my laptop in the UK?
I have bought my dell vostro 3500 laptop from Lebanon , and now I have travelled to the UK , so the charger does not fit in the electivity plug-in in the UK , so I found what is called travel adapters which I can plug my laptop charger in it and it will work on the electricity plug in the UK, but the problem is that there are a big warning in the travel adapter which i was t6hinking to but that said that it is only suitable for 250 V or 240V - i do not remeber exactly- , so I do not know what this means, but when I check my laptop charger it is written on it “2.5A 125V”, and input/entrada:100-240V(1.6A) 50-60Hz and output/SALIDA 19.5V (3.34A)
so is it safe if I buy the travel adapter?
It looks like the input voltage on your charger is switchable, or even automatic, so you should just be able to use the adapter.
