i bought a 1GB memory card and i have a laptop with a built in memory card reader what does ready boost do??
I have a dell inspiron 1521 (with vista) with a built in memory card reader. And i just bought a 1 GB memory sd card. I want to use it for ready boost, but my computer isnt slow or anything. What excactly am i doing by using it for ready boost? What exactly can that do, I dont really know what ready boost is.
Readyboost is a quick and easyway of increasing your computer's RAM by using sd-card or usb flash memory.
Readyboost isn't as good as adding real RAM and if you have 2gb RAM or more you won't notice much difference by using it.
