i already have 3gb of standard memory with my Toshiba laptop. Would it be worth it to install an additional...?
1 GB memory to make the laptop 4GB ram? Would there be any noticeable performance increases since the laptop already had 3 GB RAM?
I am running windows vista on a 64 bit machine...
If you are running 64 bit windows it will utilize it. Check to see if you have 64 bit windows. Alot of computer companies put 32 bit windows on 64 bit machines 32 bit windows doesnt utilize much more than 3 gigs of ram so more than that is a waste. How much difference it makes depends on what you do on it
