About upgrading Asus G1S laptop RAM to 4GB?
Hello
The laptop Asus G1S has 2 GB RAM installed…I know, that the 32-bit Vista supports up to 3 GB RAM memory, so if you want to have 4 GB RAM installed – you have to go for Vista 64-bit..
What I want to know, if you install 4GB RAM anyway (2x2GB memory cards) and leave the 32-bit Vista for now, will it still recognize only 2 GB, or it will see 3 GB? Thanks 
it will recognize the other one too but it will not use all of it
the 64-bit uses max of 3.6 gb
so i suggest to just add an extra 1 gb
