I have two laptops one 2gb one 4gb can i just swop the ram if it the same type,or will i need to set up laptop?
will i need to set anything on the laptops, in other words will the computers recognise the change?
If they are 32 bit computers there is no benefit in having 4 Gb RAM as 32 bit only recognises 3GB.
So if both are 32 bit then put 3GB in both.
