Luggage & Baggage Weight Restrictions: Maximum Weight per Bag?
Hello,
I'm flying from Dubai to Melbourne on Emirates Airlines. I'm aware that maximum allowed baggage by weight is 30 Kg for economy class. However, I hear that the Airport allows only 23 Kg per check-in bag so the 30 Kg must be splitted in two bags.
Is the 23Kg restriction set forth by Dubai Airport true or false? It seems airport is caring for its staff's medical condition and fitness. Airport call centre couldn't answer this question!
2. Can I carry a laptop bag (with laptop & accessories) in addition to the single 7 Kg handbag onto the plane for free?
1. it is noramlly 30kg for economy class. 23kg/2pc baggage applies only to US or CANADA flights.you doesnt really needed to comply with that since you are travelling to Melbourne,Australia.
2.Yes you can carry a laptop bag w/ accesories in addition to your handcarry baggage,since laptop is not considered as handcarry on.
