how to add my laptop as wireless client to the apple airport extreme?
my dad just bought airport extreme to let us use wirelessly at home..the base station is already set up..i already have ssid and password..but the problem is i dnt know how to add my laptop so i could connect wirelessly to our connection.. what shall i do? do i still need to configure my laptop to suits the base station configuration?
if you have a MAC it should set up automagically.
if you have windows PC
double click on wireless network Icon next to clock.
click on View Wirelss networks button (lower right)
Click View advanced settings (lower left)
Click on center tab : Wireless Networks.

IF YOU HAVE THE SSID, select that name, click Properties,
Tab: Association
Network Authentication WPA-PSK
Data Encryption TKIP
Tab: Authentiction

Connect when in range - checked
Click OK on properties Tab
Click OK on Wireless tab
Restart PC to save all changes.
