Does it matter if I install an AMD athlon CPU into my laptop?
I currently have an AMD turion 64 processor and would like toupgradee it, but was wonder; does it matter if I install a AMD Athlon or Phenom CPU into a laptop or do I need to install something like AMD turion mobile technology? I've heard I could install any I wanted but it would just use a lot of battery and use a lot of my energy?
You will have to check the specs of your laptop to insure that the CPU you have will actually install into your laptop.
My guess is that the laptop will only accept a "mobile" version of an AMD CPU which is a Turion.
