So where all these tablets apart from the iPad nad the Galaxy Tab?
I've seen the (very pricey) Galaxy tablet, but my son has said that lots of Android tablets have been mentioned in web articles - for instance a Viewpad. Perhaps this was a Christmas hint. But I can't seem to find any of the others in actual shops. Does this mean they are a bit of a risky purchase til next year?
The Samsung galaxy tab certainly seems to be well in the lead at the moment.
But on the high street you can find
- the Archos 70 at Anvika (sometimes inside Bentalls),
- the Dell Streak at O2 http://shop.o2.co.uk/
- and the Linx Commtiva at Phones 4 U http://www.phones4u.co.uk/
This last is pretty much the same as the ViewSonic ViewPad, only cheaper.
