Which PDA?

I'm a writer looking for a cheap but serviceable PDA to write with. I've heard Alphasmart and QuickPad PRO from many authors, but in my search, I've also heard some techies recommend Apple eMate as well as the Apple iBook. I've found all four for reasonable prices, but can't decide which one to purchase. Can someone help!?

Ive heard O2 is also an ok brand, that might be another option...but make sure you get warranty with it because you may face some problems with it like any other brand.
