Uh oh - my ferret ate something she shouldn't have! Will she be ok?
Now I know ferrets shouldn't have fruits or veggies. Today I let her out and she was all over my stuff, crawling in and out of my bags from work as normal. She was sitting in my laptop bag for about 10 minutes, so I figured she was just chillin' in there. Apparently I'd left an apple in there from my lunch and she thought she's have a little snack on it. I pulled her out to see what she was doing in there for so long, and I pulled out my leftover apple with likely about a teaspoon sized chunk out of it - mostly skin missing.
(Crazy ferret won't eat meat but she'll go nuts on an apple)
Will she be ok? Is there anything I should be worried about or watching for?
Yeah, she's a strange one. I've tried her on chicken, beef, veal, babyfood, cooked, solid - she won't go for it but yet she loves fruit.
as long as she doesn't consume more on a regular basis she should be fine
