Anyone out there own an Acer Aspire One notebook computer?
I was thinking about buying one of these. Do you like it? Can it run MicroSoft Word? Where did you buy yours. I want a gold one but I can't seem to find the gold colored one for sale anywhere.
I just bought one and I love it. I do not have microsoft word, I have open office, only because I removed microsoft word. Open office is free an does all of the same things, and can be tranferred to office. I can write papers, veiw and edit powerpoints and excel. You could put office on it if you would like, but I don't see the need. One thing I must mention is that I have the Windows XP version of the aspire one; it's one 20 bucks more and it has 1gb ram and 120gb HD. The original only had 512mb rams, and an 8gb hard drive. I'd say go for it, i love mine and get stopped everywhere I'm using it (i don't get as much as I would like accomplishe). I purchased mine at microcenter.com and there is no gold one, only brown, pink, white, and navy.
