Will a 7200rpm 2.5" IDE harddrive work on my4 year old laptop that used a 4200rpm IDE HDD?
My Compaq Presario 2500 notebook came with a 80gb 4200rpm ATA/IDE hardrive. But this broke. Will a faster 7200 rpm still work with this computer so long as it uses an IDE interface?
