I have a net book with intel ATOM processor will it support pro e & other mechanical designing softwares?
It will but it might work slowly. It also depends on the ram, but you can expand it by changing or adding ram, also you can use an empty pen disk when you need more memory.
I'd recommend you only use a program at the time though to avoid your system to freeze.
My computer only has 1GB of Ram and it can be really hard even though the processor is a dual Core AMD athlon 64bits.
But yeah you can expand the memory. But I wouldn't mind
usually those notebook's OS is Windows XP or linux and both operative systems don't need a lot of ram whereas the major problem of my computer is I bought it with Vista ( Vista is really demanding in term of RAM). So I suggest you use linux. The best linuxes are ( in my opinion Fedora and Ubunto. But for beginners Ubunto and Kubunto are easier.
