If I have my air con blowing towards my LCD is it bad?
because I live in a small room and the only space I can put the tv is right where the AC is blowing. I live in LA so during this time it gets pretty hot, so I occasionaly turn on the AC. Is not very close, but will it harm my LCD in any way?
IF it's an LCD PROJECTOR....YES.
You can shorten the life of the LAMP...it does not like ADVERSE CHANGES in temperature....
If you run that air conditioner.....You start it first, let the unit run for 30 minutes, then start the TV....then you keep that air conditioner running until you're done with the TV set....turn off the TV first, let the air conditioner run 30 minutes later....
WHY? As long as that TV set SEES only ONE temperature with NO changes in the room temps WHILE it's Operating/Cooling Down, your TV will give you GOOD LAMP LIFE....
You flip that air conditioner on/off while the TV is playing and that LAMP sees variations in temps....and it does not like going From Hot to Cold or vice versa......
BUT IF IT's an LCD PANEL......NO.
