laptop screen is black but when i tilt it sometimes turnes on, Whats wrong? How can i fix it?
I turn it on and the screen turns a slighter gray so i know its not the light.(i think) And i know its on bc the opening music plays. Now when i tilt the screen back sometimes it works, however to hold the laptop reguarly its just a black. Can someone please tell me whats wrong and how i should fix it.
Really hard to say without seeing it and taking it apart, but it's possible that there is a loose connection or possibly a damaged or broken wire somewhere. As a tech I would take it apart, check & reseat all connections and check wire routing for possible issues or pinching, and check for any wiring damage like cuts or severe bends and go from there. And it may just need a new LCD. Hard to say for sure, but those are the things that would need to be checked.
