Dell Inspiron 15 (blue +$40) with intel i5processor and 4gbram for total of $775 or Sony Vaio i3 4gb for $700?
Is there much difference between the i3 and i5 intel microprocessors? The sony has 2.13 GHz and I'm not sure how much the dell has, probably are 3.0? Obviously the Sony is prettier and cheaper, but if the Dell is more worth it than I'll go with that. I'm going to be a student in college next year. Any suggestions/advice would be great, thanks.
The dell will be cheaper to repair and easier to fix. The sony has a higher resell value because it is prettier and many people feel sony is a superior brand name.
You should try to find the models you want to order in a brick and mortar
(like a real store...) and try out the keyboards. That would be a HUGE deciding factor for me.
