Dell XPS laptop while loading screen turns blue saying that i gotta reboot my computer help?
When i turned my computer on it started loading like any other day but once it started to load to where you type the password a blue screen goes on saying that i gotta reboot the computer and the window has shut down too prevent any damage done to the computer, my question is how can i fix it and what would be the problem. thanks and hopefully i find an awnser
What you are getting is the BSOD (blue screen of death) it is usually triggered by hardware or hardware driver malfunction.
Boot into safe mode (Hit F8 before the Windows boot screen appears) and select Safe Mode
In there you will be able to uninstall drivers, and hardware that you might have added. You can also do a disk check as there might be something wrong with your hard drive.
The screen should have given a error code or something that you can also try to google and find out more info.
