my speakers on my laptop were disabled how do i enable them?
i was setting up my bluetooth headset on my laptop and somehow the speakers got disabled and now i can't enable them
Well, you didn't specify which operating system you're using, however, because Bluetooth is involved and it's a rather new technology, I'll go ahead and assume it's Vista.
On Vista:
Right Click on the Speaker Icon (in the bottom right) --> Select "Adjust Audio Properties".
OR
Start --> Control Panel --> "Hardware and Sound" --> "Manage Audio Devices"
Select the "Audio" tab and select your Sound Card in the Drop Down Box.
ALSO:
If there is a Function Key (which is likely), usually labeled "Fn" and in a different color, then look for a picture of a speaker with an "X" over it on the keyboard in the same color as the function key. If you find one, Try holding the Function ("Fn") key down, as you would "Shift", and select the key with the picture on it. Probably won't work, but always worth a shot
All The Best,
Eric
