Invisalign?
Who has it? I use to have braces about 6 years ago I am now 18 and 3 moths old. My top teeth are pretty staright I like them. there is like a verry little gap between one of my top teeth, is very unticible, to me is not. could invisilign help? also in the botton there is one tooth that is a little bit crooked going in wards. doesnt botherme too much though. Is invisalign helpfull for my case?
I do not have any isurance whatsoever, I know its a big problem. How mcuh do you think it would cost me. Braces for me where really expensive. would it be the same?
Invisalign is a trademarked name for a proprietary method of orthodontics developed by Align Technology, Incorporated. The Invisalign system, developed in the late 90’s, uses clear plastic “aligners”, manufactured with sophisticated computer technology, to straighten teeth, rather than wire-and-bracket braces. Besides being practically invisible, their computer-designed precision enables them to move teeth more efficiently and comfortably than conventional wires and brackets. The average treatment time with Invisalign is twelve months. These are not, however, a complete replacement for conventional braces. They cannot move teeth that aren’t fully erupted yet. They are not good for severe crowding. There are other situations where the best way to move the teeth is with conventional braces. But, because they are invisible, comfortable, and fast, patients love them. They are particular favourites with adults and older teenagers. The actual cost depends on the complexity of your case. Fees generally start at around $5000 and may cost up to $7700 for a complete case.
