Water Spilled onto my laptop..?
I spilled a bit of water onto my laptop keyboard while playing Starcraft and my hand knocked over my cup around 30 minutes ago ...So I'm typing this on my dads desktop
Anyways,, my laptop is a old Compaq Presario c700, I've already read instructions before, So i shut it down it, tilted it and blew it with some cold air, dried up it up as much as possible... but I can't take my battery out cause the switch doesn't seem to work... BUT, I did all that after I realized I was probably making things worse.... ( i continued to play SC but realized i couldn't type, then got off, then panicked then blew at it with a bit of hot air, tried to mop it up with a towel, tried to restart...)
What do I do now? Is it too late?

Well since it has just occurred, shut it down (if possible try to remove the battery), leave it alone overnight for the water to be dry, since you said that you have probably already dried it up. If there is large water puddles, just take a sheet of paper towel and tap it to absorb the water (so you will know in the future). Turn it on the next day and see if it works. Don't mess with it in the meantime because it will only mess up your laptop.
