how do i get pictures from camera to laptop?
I put the memeory card from my camera into my laptop and it asked to format the card. I am afraid that the pictures will get erased if i do. Since i want to get my christmas pictures on the computer is there another way?
also i don't have the cord with me to connect the camera to the laptop at the moment. Any help is greatfully appreciated.
It sounds like your memory card may be corrupted. When you tell your computer NOT to format the card and use My Computer to look at the card, does it show up?
If your card is really corrupted, the you will have to buy an image recovery program (around $32) and use it to recover any of the images on the card that are lost at present
Once you recover the images, format the card using the camera format feature, not the computers.
