How can I Wipe this Hard Drive?
The problem happend today, long story short I installed an OS(windows 7) ONLY on this drive and it rebooted and is now frozen.
I took that HD out, put in another installed another OS (win xp pro) It boots fine, but I can't have the other hard drive connected.
If the other HD is connected it just freezes at the screen where you have to press del for setup(bios) if i press that nothing happens, it just stays stuck.
I dont care about the files what are on it, just clean straight wipe..
Check the jumpers on the drive. They might be set wrong.
Set it as slave to the XP drive and connect it as the second drive. Then try booting the system. If you can get into the BIOS, setup the drive, the restart and format it. Then do whatever you want.
