problem with "acer aspire one" battery?
I have the Acer Aspire One 532h-2588 the one that can be found in Meyer or Wallmart for $299.99.
From the outside it says: 8+ hours of battery life, 6 cell lithium-ion battery, 1GB of RAM, Inter Atom Processor N450(1.66GHz, 512kb Cache) and 160 GB of hard disk! But this Netbook is a joke, they rounded almost every number, i only got 136GB of ram and 6 hours of battery.
My problem is everytime i charge the netbook now, it charges until 78% then, it doesn't go higher than that, which is only 4-3 hours of battery life, i charged it all night yesterday, but still. Now i am wondering if i need a new battery or is there a way to repair this problem?
Please don't answer saying $300 is a ripoff because Meyer and Wallmart are big global company or "just get yourself a real netbook or laptop", because i got very important files on this one and don't want to lose them.
those specs are like that because they are pc, macs are the full 500gb and i get 8hrs.
