What should i do if my eMachines M2105 AC Adapter Power Charger with Power Supply cord was making some orange?
I noticed it had stopped working so i decided to check out the cords. I looked in the cord outlet and noticed a orange brownish colored residue there it had a strange odor.
STOP STOP STOP! UNPLUG THE ADAPTER FROM YOUR COMPUTER IMMEDIATELY!
That means that the power cord is burnt out and it MAY damage your computer! It can fry everything inside!!
Run off the current battery and don't use the charger. QUICKLY get a new charger! I had a similar issue and my charger fried EVERYTHING I had. It was not pretty. When I got a new charger and everything replaced I never had the same issue again. Don't risk it and get a new one. Please.
