best convertible tablet pc / tablet pc?
I'll use it for photoshop, internet browsing, watching dvds(optional). most important is a good handwriting feature cause i scribble quite fast. absolutely no gaming at all. large screen isnt really too important. long battery life. or can you just provide me the specifications i should look for? thanks! I just ordered a tablet for my company. You might want to check out the one we went with. It is a Thinkpad X60 Tablet. It has more than enough power to do all of these tasks. Also, it is generally highly regarded in terms of handwriting recognition. One downside to the Thinkpad X60 is that it does not come with any CD/DVD drive. However you can get one to put into a base station or plug into the laptop via USB.
Things to consider:
Processor (at least 1.8gh)
Ram (no less than 1gig)
Hard Drive Space (60 - 80 gig minimum)
Battery life (more is better)
Make sure to check out reviews as well for opinions on how well the laptop does with the handwriting features. CNET is a good place to look for these.
