What kind of power strip should I get for all my electronics?
I have a laptop, computer speakers, cable telephony box, cordless phone base, tv & an external hard drive which are all plugged into the same power strip (powerbar, extension lead...etc) in the corner of my room.
There are like...6 or 7 electrical wires and a bunch of mixed up cables everywhere.
Is it dangerous? Should I get a specific kind of power bar?
I'm worried about stuff getting too hot or short circuiting...?

Get two good surge protectors.
You might want to get a UPS one for the telephone and hard-drive, and anything else that needs to stay on when the power goes out..
