I'am planning to install windows vista ultimate on my computer, what is its advantage?
I have Intel Core 2 Duo (32bit) with 2gb RAM and 250gb 1 hard drive. i have a wifi adaptor .. I am planning to upgrade my home premium to ultimate because its causing me alot of problems such as disconnecting from my wireless network and my connections are pure slow all the time and there is alot of bugs. will this help fix my problem?
No, and yes.
Vista ultimate will not solve any internet connection problems for you, it is an expensive release of the almost ready to be replaced Vista, that microsoft wants you to purchase to make them wealthier...
You are going to upgrade to windows 7, in less than six months. Windows 7 is a refined Vista, and I would download a copy of the beta, and see how you are going to like the new operating system.
You might download Puppy, or Slitaz's cooking Linux Live CD, and run Linux in memory just to test your hardware and see if you also continually get disconnected. Remember using a Live Linux CD you do not need a hard drive in the computer, worth learning to use, in case you need internet access
There could be many reasons for your disconnection drivers, location interference. Slow could be a maleware infested system, or others piggybacking on your wireless connection.
Any new installation of an operating system is going to improve your system, it is always the best cleanup of junk, temp file, bad or damaged drivers, malware, Trojans, and hidden viruses...
I subscribe to the school once infected, always infected, and it is always a good time for a new install of the operating system...
