If you do apply both, make sure the invisible shield goes on first, then you can apply the decal. Once the shield is on, it'll provide a much better grip for the decal, and its also designed to go on straight to the iPod anyways without any extra bulk (the decal going to be bulkier than the invisible shield, so it would look odd the other way around).
