what is the best thing to do in this situation? please read detail. regarding laptop mouse freezing??
hey. i made a question yesterday about the laptop that i bought 3 or 4 months ago. since i got it the mouse cursor and mouse buttons completely stop working for fairly long periods of time at random intervals. now i have the latest drivers and i am not accidently locking the pad so i am convinced that it is a hardware problem rather than a software problem.
one of the answers suggested not to waste time searching for a fix but to go back to the shop. now if i took it back to currys would they offer to fix it for me or just give me some kind of store credit to spend on something new? i would prefer this as i wouldnt mind adding some extra cash and upgrading to a different laptop. maybe even a macbook haha =D
note: i did not take out any special cover on my purchase.
If you are completely unhappy with your laptop, take it back and ask for a refund because the laptop is defective. You are entitled to a full refund if the laptop is faulty, you do not have to take a credit note OR pick an alternative.
