CPU fan & heatsink compatibility?
I am trying to replace an extremely loud fan in an hp a1101n pc (CPU is Celeron 340 (P) 2.93) and I need to know if this is a good choice will it cool and is it quiet? but most importantly will it work?..... here is the link to the heatsink/fan and one to the pc spec page..

Thermaltake isn't known for quiet CPU fans. That one you linked to will work, but I doubt it's going to be much quieter considering that it spins at 2800RPM.

It also comes with a fan controller which you can use to dial down the fan speed to as low as 1400RPM to make it even quieter.
