just a thought i have a compaq cq60 417DX laptop and i have Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family?
if i download the driver for the NVIDIA Geforce 9200M could that damage my laptop?
Nope, just going to have a random driver sitting around on your computer, taking up space, perhaps slowing it down juuuuuust a tad.
It's kind of like installing a webcam on your computer 3 years ago, and then getting a new one now and installing that one... the old drivers never get used because the device that you need to use that isn't present.
Now if you had an ATI graphic's card in there... there is said to be *some* potential conflicts with NVIDIA and ATI drivers comingling... others just say it's paranoid gamers so *shrug*
