what does memory 4g sdram mean and then max is 8 g?
when you look at notebook specs it states that the memory 'Configured with 4096MB PC3-8500 DDR3 1066MHz SDRAM (both memory slots may be occupied). Maximum capacity 8GB '
This is saying that the machine comes with 4GB (gigabytes) RAM occupying both memory slots. The memory can be upgraded to a maximum of 8GB - two 4GB memory modules - if you feel that you need it in the future.
