How much RAM can i put in my dell inspirion labtop?

I have a dell inspirion e1505 labtop and I want to put more RAM in it. The site says that it will only take 2GB of RAM, Can i push 3 in there. thanks

Your E1505 supports two 1GB chips, for a memory max of 2GB just as shown on the dell specs page for your system.

This is also confirmed at the Crucial memory web site as having a 2GB memory max. You can find out why Dell and other OEM computers require model specific memory part numbers at this web site.
