Problem with Charging Dell Inspiron 1525 notebook?
I have a Dell Inspiron 1525, the original charger broke so i ordered a new one online a couple weeks ago, everything was working fine then one day i turned my laptop on & the battery was low, I then looked at the battery indicator & it said "PLUGGED IN, NOT CHARGING" even though it would stay on when i still had it plugged in....I unplugged it, not meaning to, & now its fully dead....& STILL will not charge..please help with any advice possible to help this situation.....thank u
When you ordered a new one online, did you order a universal charger or a Dell branded charger? Dell laptops only allow dell branded charger to charge its battery, if you bought a universal charger, somehow in most cases, it will stop working after awhile.
My advice would be for you to return the newly bought charger and buy a new one online on ebay, amazon or google. Just make sure it is dell branded.
I would recommend buying from Topmic.com because they offer lifetime warranty and free shipping to all chargers ata good price. I think that with the benefit of warranty and shipping, it is definitely worth it to buy chargers from them.
