When will major computer Manufacturers incorporate BLU-RAY disc drives into their notebook computers?
When will major computer Manufacturers (such as Apple, Dell, Toshiba and HP) incorporate BLU-RAY disc drives into their notebook computers? Currently,only Sony incorporates Blu-ray into their laptop computers but they are too expensive.
Most every computer i have looked at recently has the options for a blu-ray drive. I havent really seen any with out that as an option.
You might not want to pay for it (and probably cant really use it unless your screen supports 1920x1200) but the option is deffinatly there.
Sony just incorporates in into theirs easier because Blu Ray is sony backed tech, so it would be retarded for them not to push the format at every possible moment.
If you really want a Blu-Ray drive buy one and do a swap out for the one in your current laptop. As long as its not horribally old then it sould be a very simple process and then get a Blu-Ray capable program for viewing... easy. The whole process shouldnt take but about 10 minutes of your time (changing out drices and installing the software)
You can get a pretty decent Blu-Ray drive for about 300.00 (usd)
