got a dell XPS gen 5 w/650watt Power supply, i want to a hd2900xt, anyone have issue not enough power plugs?
im not to farmiliar with pc power supplies, from what i can tell this vid card requires 1 (2x3) power connection and 1 (2x4) conection. i know i have 1 (2x3) connection and 4 pin plugs, so would i just need an adapter to conect the 4 pin to the 2x4 connection on the card?
650 watts is more than enough power. Most Dell power supplies are actually built pretty well and can deliver more power than actually stated. Of course thats not recommended.
