Will I screw up hyper threading if I use a 1GB and 2GB dimms together?
I have a notebook that I need more memory but realize that Vista can only use 3GB max and that going to 4GB would be a waste of money.
If I up one of the slots from 1GB to 2GB will I mess up my hyper threading? I am running a Core 2 DUO processor.
Im pretty sure it wont but Macs can use up to 32GB.
