What is a USB Docking Station and can I use it with a notebook?
its basically a dock with 4 or more USB slots,so if you only have2 USB slots on your laptop you can connect a USB dock/hub to it and have 5 open usb slots in total.
They can be used with notebooks,how ever i suggest getting a 4 port hub.because if you get a dock with more than 4slots you'll have to give it an AC power supply,which would be inconvinient.
I suggest you get a USB2.0 interface dock,because USB 1.1 's are real slow.
