Is there a way to use a Western Digital hard drive in a Seagate hard drive laptop?
I recently bought a Western Digital hard drive, but found that my laptop uses a Seagate one. Is there any kind of adapter or attachment that I can buy to use my Western Digital hard drive in my laptop?
As long as it has the same form factor (same physical dimensions) and type (either PATA or SATA) then yes you can use it to replace the existing hard drive. There's no need for any adaptor or anything.
