If my Processor socket on my laptop is S1 and im purchasing a new dual core processor will all S1's fit?
Mine is a Socket S1 (638) and a lot of these laptop dual core processors that im looking to buy say socket:s1 so will they fit?
Possible but unlikely. It depends on the age of the motherboard. If you know the motherboard you can look it up and it should have a list of compatible CPUs but if your laptop is older than say, 2 years i highly doubt it will work.
