Why does Intel denote its notebook processor T2060 as Pentium dual core?
the T2060 is nothing else than a Core Duo T2050 BUT only with half the L2 cache. why the name Pentium? this is so confusing.
I called a sales rep at Intel & not even he was able (or willing) to tell me all the specs.
I think Intel wants to confuse people about this particualar CPU ... the names given to it as well as the numeric code don't make sense.
It lacks the power & features of the T2050 .... I'm sure it has more limitations that will be exposed as time goes on.
It's only used in bargain notebooks .... 'nuff said right there.
