How do I tell if my laptop has a dual layer burner?
I was wondering how I can tell if my laptop has a dual layer burner. It is a dell inspiron 1526 that I bought around febuary last year. If any can tell me how to check then thanks. It has vista by the way if that helps at all.
I checked device manager and it came up with this. I don't know if it means I have a dual layer burner though:
TSSTcopr DVD+-RW TS-L632H ATA Decice
Vista is your operating system, like a brain.
One quick way to tell is look at your cd drive it should read something like:
DVD+R DL
The "DL" represents Dual Layer.
My pc and laptop have this stamped on the drive along with "Lightscribe"
It should esily be visible. (maybe on the corner or your cd drive)
