Is Pentium Dual Core T4200 on a laptop able to run 64bit Operating system?
I have a laptop with Pentium Dual Core T4200 2GHz and 4GB of ram.Im thinking of getting Windows 7 and wondering if I can install the 64bit version of it?
Sounds good to me but installing the 64 bit version may or may not allow you to utilize applications that were designed for 32 bit systems. If I were you I would wait a little while just to see how well Windows 7 works for others as a 64 bit system.
Your system may not have 64 bit drivers available for some of the devices and that may cause conflict. External devices may also have a lack of driver support and that will force you to shell out more money to buy equipment that will support it.
