my laptop dvd rom is not working properly, when i double click on removable disk it is asking insert disk, but i have already inserted the disk, please help me
if using xp click on the start menu then run then type regedit and hit enter if using vista start type regedit and hit enter, after the registry is open for either one xp or vista go to local machine, system, current control set, control, class, {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} from the right delete upper and lower filters, you may have only upper or maybe only lower if both delete both, then restart the computer and you should be able to read the discs again
