will world in conflict work on my Lenovo R61
Here are the specs:
T7250(2GHz), 2GB RAM, 160GB 5400rpm HD, 14.1in 1280x800, Intel X3100, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11abg wireless, Bluetooth, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, 4c Li-Ion, WinVista Business 32
Unfortunately it will most likely not support the game in question. Intel integrated graphics is usually 8 megabytes of memory. This graphics card does not really support more than normal windows function.
Some games will work if you turn off all shading, turn down the graphics quality, ect. I have seen Guild wars work but it is very choppy and there is alot of lag.
If this is a laptop you are pretty much stuck until someone figures out a way to add an expansion graphics card to a laptop. If this is a desktop you can add an inexpensive graphics card for pretty cheap.
One thing that I know will help you get more performance out of the card in question. Go to intels website and download their driver for your graphics card. You'll get a little more performance out of it, but it still won't run the newer games without problems.
I found this answer to a simular question because I wasn't familiar with your video card. World in conflict is one of the most graphic demanding games out right now, it is a phenomonal game, and highly reccomend it. I thought the expanded slot for labtobs was an interesting suggestion, that might actually work so look into it. But you need at least a 256mb of memory graphic card to play WIC.
