Can you interperate my dream?
I was walking around a shopping mall with my mum, dad and brother. I had a plastic shopping bag in my hand, I was only holding one of the handles so the contents was tipping out, I saw my laptop and my phone in there, so I held the other handle as well.
We got to an elevator, and walked in. I stood unnaturally close to the wall, as I do in reality, but so did my family, which is odd. It seemed normal until we felt a jolt and I stumbled forward. My mum laughed at me. We seemed to have come to a halt, but then the elevator rocked a little and I felt that terrible feeling like when you miss a stair or suddenly go down a steep hill in a car. My dad said "it's all gone", and I realised the elevator was dropping. I started to hyperventilate and woke up doing the same.
I'm quite afraid of elevators, but it's not a phobia, I can still use them. Does this dream mean anything?
Falling dreams can mean a lot of things, one of which is insecurity in your life. Since the dream had your family and they behaved as you would and you were in control of your plastic bag containing your valuable possessions, you may be concerned or a little worried about your father's finances and your mother's apathy or denial of any problem. It's just stress.
